Rapid Access Services

Rapid Access provides a comprehensive assessment to individuals seeking Behavioral Health services.  The goals of Rapid Access are to improve an individual’s access to services, increase quality of care, build consistency, and strengthen individual accountability.  Our Rapid Access Clinicians are knowledgeable and positive while providing flexibility and advocacy for individuals seeking services.  Individuals are seen on a first come, first serve basis during Rapid Access hours and serves children, adolescents, and adults.  Following an assessment, individuals may be referred to recommended community resources or scheduled for an appointment with a case manager or clinician depending on the individual’s specific needs. 

Rapid Access hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30am until 3:00pm.  The Rapid Access process includes the following:

  • A financial assessment to obtain your insurance information and determine cost of services.  DPCS offers a sliding scale fee based on the individual’s household income. 

  • Meeting with a clinician to assess your needs and discuss recommendations for follow-up services.

  • Referral to other resources in the community that may be helpful to your recovery.

The information that you will need to complete an assessment:

  • A picture ID

  • Social Security Number

  • All Insurance Cards (Medicaid, Medicare, HMO Cards)

  • Proof of Household Income  (SSDI, SSI, TANF, verification of child support, retirement, pension payments, check stub, direct deposit bank statement, current income tax statements, and proof of other income)

  • Legal Guardian/Custody documents

  • List of Medications, dosages, prescribing doctor

  • Names of physical health conditions

  • Name, address, phone for emergency contact

  • Name, address, phone for Primary Care Physician
