Finance, Human Resources, Compliance and Information Systems make up the different departments of the Administration division.  These departments support the service divisions of Behavioral Health, Developmental, and Prevention Services.


Finance

The Finance Division provides support services, guidance and information to the other divisions and the Executive Director. The Finance Division is responsible for the following functions: budget, accounting, payroll, fringe benefits, accounts payable, accounts receivable (reimbursement), purchasing, financial reporting, auditing, insurance and technical assistance to the other divisions and staff in these areas.

Compliance & IT

Compliance & Information Systems provides support with Quality Assurance/Improvement, Information Technology, Training and Corporate Compliance.  Our staff are responsible for the establishment, coordination, and oversight of the Agency's Quality and Compliance Programs, Training and Health Information Technology.  Additionally, our team is responsible for the Agency's Performance Contract with the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS), Agency compliance with internal/external auditing entities, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Human Rights compliance, State Licensure, the Freedom of Information Act, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Safety and the Agency's Corporate Compliance Plan, Policies, and Procedures.

Compliance

Compliance includes Quality Assurance/Improvement, Safety and Training. Quality Compliance staff provide a standardized system of electronic health record reviews to determine the presence or absence of documents and information as it pertains to compliance with State licensing requirements, Medicaid and Agency policies and procedures. Quality staff also handle requests for release of information for individuals and requests for release of information that employees may need from other agencies.  Training DPCS staff in all required DBHDS, OSHA, CMS, DMAS and other regulations is coordinated by the Training Coordinator.

IT

Information Technology staff are responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the network infrastructure, computers/servers, tele-medicine, VOIP, bandwidth and the Electronic Health Record. Our staff also comply with all State Reporting Requirements issued by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.

Human Resources

The Human Resources Division is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Agency's human resources programs, including recruitment, retention, employee relations, compensation, performance, management, and benefits. In addition, the Human Resources Division is responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds at the 245 Hairston Street office site and the Agency's fleet of vehicles.
