Reimbursement
Specialist/Safety Risk Coordinator

Responsibilities: Send notices of past due accounts, handle the disposition of
delinquent accounts and bad debts by write-off, court judgments, garnishments
and prepare State Income Tax Debt Set-Off. Serve as the Agency’s Safety-Risk
Coordinator. Assist in billing open and closed accounts, aged accounts and send
consumer statements on a monthly basis. Log and post revenue received from
consumer billing. Bill Medicaid/Medicare and private insurance monthly; log and
post reimbursements from insurance billing. Maintain daily log of revenue and
make daily deposits. Maintain files on paid and unpaid third party claims.
Assist in balancing accounts receivable on a monthly basis. Assist in
maintaining the procedures manual for Reimbursement functions. Correspond with
other agencies regarding payment for services. Serve as backup for all Divisions
of the Agency for Financial assessments.
Requirements:
Associate Degree in any business related field
required. Experience in filing Medicare/Medicaid/Third Party
Insurance and experience with collections preferred. Knowledge of
basic office procedures and equipment preferred. Proficient in Excel
spreadsheet or other spreadsheet software preferred. FBI
fingerprints, criminal record check, drug test, and central registry
(CANIS) report will be required upon request.
ANNUAL SALARY
RANGE:
$24,828 - $37,239. Excellent fringe benefits.
