Child and Family
Clinician
Position Number: 4270
Responsibilities: Provides individual, family, and group counseling to children,
adolescents, and their families; provides clinical assessments, intakes, and
develops treatment plans; works with referrals from local Court Service Units
and Family Assessment and Services Teams; provides community education,
consultation, and emergency services.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology,
Counseling, or Social Work required (the degree should be acceptable
by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a sufficient
Master’s degree to be licensure eligible as a LPC, LCSW, or LCP).
Virginia license as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional
Counselor, or Clinical Psychologist preferred; one year experience
providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and their
families preferred. Fingerprinting and satisfactory results on State
and FBI criminal record reports. Favorable central registry (CANIS)
report and drug test results.
ANNUAL SALARY
RANGE:
$34,137 - $51,206 (10% increase for licensure). Excellent fringe
benefits.
