PACT - Nurse Manager

Responsibilities: Assists in ensuring day to day operations of the PACT program;
responsible for staff training including supervision, selection, performance
evaluations, and discipline to select PACT team members; conducting psychiatric
assessments; assessing physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to
community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in
conjunction with the psychiatrist; providing a range of treatment,
rehabilitation, and support services; sharing shift-management responsibilities
with other staff. Provides direct case management services to consumers;
conducts medication education; performs necessary documentation; serves as a
certified prescreener for emergency hospitalization; participates in on-call
rotation; assumes the role of team leader in the absence of the PACT
Coordinator.
Requirements:
Successful completion of education requirements
for a Registered Nurse with a valid RN license in Virginia; at least
two years experience providing mental health services, with at least
one year of experience working with seriously mentally ill
consumers; crisis intervention experience; and valid drivers license
and safe driving record required. Clinical supervisory experience
preferred. Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug
test, and CANIS report will be required upon request.
ANNUAL SALARY
RANGE:
$36,793 - $55,192. Excellent fringe benefits.
Sign on bonus: $3,500.00.
