Responsibilities: Assists in the overall functioning of the program to provide various services to individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorder; assists in the development and implementation of relevant programming designed to meet the specific needs of individuals of all age groups, including young adults with mental illness and co-occurring disorders; provides vocational skills training to consumers; assists with maintaining an orderly program environment; facilitates self-help groups; facilitates community integration activities; participates in work readiness assessments; oversees consumers’ participation in supportive employment activities; provides on-going assistance with work adjustment; participates as an Intensive Community Services Program team member; performs required program documentation; and provides back-up for other team members.

Requirements: Bachelors’ degree in a human services or related field (social work, psychology, counseling, psychiatric rehabilitation, etc.) from an accredited college with at least one year of clinical experience providing direct services to persons with a diagnosis of mental illness or substance use disorder - or
Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in Virginia with at least one year of clinical experience providing direct services to persons with a diagnosis of mental illness or substance use disorder - or
Registered Psychiatric Rehabilitation Provider (RPRP) registered with the International Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (IAPSRS) required. Valid drivers license, safe driving record, and ability to drive a 15-passenger vehicle required. Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and CANIS report will be required upon request.
 

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $31,641 - $47,461. Excellent fringe benefits.
