ICF Day Activities Support Specialist
 

Position Number: 3357

 

Responsibilities: Will work under the supervision of ICF Activities Managers. Responsible for providing active treatment, quality care, training, supports, and supervision to consumers.  Responsible for assisting individuals with self-help, task learning and community utilization skills.  Responsible for assisting with assessments, the development, and implementation of Individual Service Plans. Assist with planning and implementing community and center-based activities to meet the individual’s needs.  Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the safety and wellness of individuals.  Responsible for maintaining documentation according to all applicable standards.  Responsible for providing transportation for individuals to community activities.                                                                                              

 

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disability or Mental Illness required; Valid driver’s license with safe driving record required.  Four (4) years experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disability or Mental Illness and training in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Management preferred.  Applicant must be able to work independently, pleasantly, and cooperatively with a wide variety of people. Must meet the physical requirements of the position.  Fingerprints, State and FBI Criminal Record Reports, drug test, and Central Registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request

 

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $22,788 - $35,890. Excellent fringe benefits.
