Director of Prevention Services and Quality Assurance

 

Position Number: 2001

 

Responsibilities: Under the administrative supervision of the Executive Director, plans, implements, and operates a prevention program, a quality assurance program, and a grant writing program for the Agency. Assesses community needs and, through coordination with other local agencies and groups, develops a community-based prevention plan. Plans and assures independent reviews of consumer records, including electronic health records, in the Agency’s behavioral health and intellectual disability programs to determine compliance with the requirements of licensure, Medicaid/Medicare, and third-party insurance companies. Responsible for budget development, expenditures, budget revisions, and staff supervision. Coordinates the Agency’s wellness program and coordinates the development of the Agency’s annual report.

 

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in human services field required. Paid prevention program experience and paid supervisory experience in the past 12 months required. Certified Prevention Professional; Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs (CPP-ATOD) preferred. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a pleasant, positive, and professional manner. Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.

 

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $57,420 to $86,132. Excellent fringe benefits.
