Responsibilities: Performs a variety of assignments in support of the Agency’s
human resources division. Responsibilities include ensures proper maintenance of
the building and grounds, alarm system and phone system at 245 Hairston Street;
ensures proper maintenance of office equipment; provides administrative support
to the Director and Assistant Director of Human Resources; assists with
administering the Agency’s benefits; provides training to employees and
supervisors on human resources related topics; performs special projects,
research and surveys; demonstrates a high degree of initiative and exercises
independent judgment; maintains strict confidentiality; and exercises discretion
in all communications.
Requirements:
Associate’s Degree
in Administrative Support Technology or similar field required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or
related field preferred. Two years of experience in human resources,
supervisory experience and public sector experience preferred.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills and the
ability to work well with others in a pleasant, positive, and
professional manner. Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record
reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be
required upon request.
ANNUAL SALARY
RANGE:
$29,254 to $43,880. Excellent fringe benefits.
