Director of Intellectual
Disability Services
Position Number: 3001
Responsibilities: Under the administrative supervision of the Executive Director,
this position is responsible for program development and the operation of the
Agency’s Intellectual Disability Services including all the directly-operated
programs within the Division and for contract compliance of the intellectual
disability programs for which the Agency contracts. Responsible for staff
development, supervision, in-service training, performance evaluations, and
disciplinary action; develops and manages budgets; maintains an administrative
awareness of current local, state, and national strategies and trends concerning
services to individuals with intellectual disability; develops, implements, and
maintains the division’s Medicaid strategy; and responsible for the program’s
compliance with applicable licensing, certification, and evaluation standards.
Requirements:
Advanced degree in
human service field preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in human service
field required. Three years of experience in intellectual disability
field preferred. Five years of progressive administrative experience
preferred. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
and the ability to work well with others in a pleasant, positive,
and professional manner. Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record
reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be
required upon request.
ANNUAL SALARY
RANGE:
$63,780 to $95,669. Excellent fringe benefits.
