The Compliance & Information Systems Division provides support with Quality Assurance, Information Technology, and Corporate Compliance.  This Division is responsible for the establishment, coordination, and oversight of the Agency's Quality Assurance and Compliance Program and Health Information/Information Technology Unit.  It is also responsible for the Agency's Performance Contract with the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, Agency compliance with internal/external auditing sources, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Human Rights, State Licensure, Freedom of Information Act, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the Agency's Corporate Compliance Plan, Policies, and Procedures.

The Quality Assurance Unit provides a standardized system of medical record reviews to determine the presence or absence of documents and information as it pertains to compliance with State licensing requirements, Medicaid and Agency policies and procedures. This unit also handles requests for release of information for consumers and requests for release of information that employees may need from other agencies.

The Information Technology Department is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the network infrastructure, computers and the Electronic Health Record. This department also complies with all State Reporting Requirements issued by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.
